OUR STORY

The fictional supervillain Dr Fu Manchu is the inspiration behind a dangerously cool new dining concept. Fu Manchu Oriental Kitchen is a modern Asian fusion restaurant, combining flavours from all corners of the East to the far reaches of the West. A unique, progressive and adventurous dining experience, highlighting a menu packed with ‘melt in your mouth’ superstars.

OUR FOOD

Roam a menu of captivating plates, with fusion in mind and flavour at the heart. A sharing menu invites guests to sample a selection of dishes, leaving tantalising flavours dancing on the palate. Eclectic flavours pair traditional techniques with modern flair, and unique combinations are guaranteed to surprise. Fu Manchu sources fresh produce from our local farmers, growers and fishermen.

OUR SPACE

Located in the up-and-coming community of Chevron Island, just a short stroll from Surfers Paradise, Fu Manchu features designer wallpaper from New York, bespoke birdcage lighting from Hong Kong, and stunning furnishings throughout. Fu Manchu is perfect for functions/corporate events up to 60 guests, but equally intimate for date night, and our semi-private dining room seats 8 guests in an exclusive setting. Fu Manchu is a stones’ throw from ‘HOTA Home of The Arts’, soon to be linked by a footbridge, and open for dinner from 5pm, perfect for dinner before the show.

OUR DRINKS

The Asian fusion theme continues into the beverage list, with unique, hand-crafted cocktails drawing influence from Asia and beyond. A sophisticated wine list spans both local and international varietals, all hand selected to compliment the menu. Asian and Local craft beer is on tap, as well as an intriguing mix of Asian lagers by the bottle.
